• Very high demand.
• The topic is "Raising Investment"
• Nobody raised 300,ooo or more
• Nobody is in deep debt
  
• If you have an Engineer make sure you have
  
• Marketing side
• Finance side
• for funding:
• Set a financing strategy
• Fund to milestones
• Leave a cushion
• 3-9 month to complete a financing
• Be realistic about dilution
• Steps of financing:
• Package preparation to the investors
• Identifying appropriate target
• Term sheets (Get and read the terms)

• Complete Due Diligence
  
• Sources of financing
• Equity
• family, friends, employees, angels and VCs
• Debt
• Banks, subordinated landers
• Grants
• Revenue
• Can be very distracting
• Do know where you are at all times

• Go to the coffee ! Not a PPT ;p
• Talk about the business- who you sell to, why they buy, etc- not the technology
• Ask about investor's portfolio and deals s/he would like to do and why
• Send a THANK YOU letter !!! asap
• Answer all the wuestions you couldn't earlier

• Value proposition is very important.
